Wartime prayers

Day 25 of blogging.

As you probably know, I am using the songs written by my idol Paul Simon as my muse for each day’s post. Today’s song is “Wartime Prayers.”

The last line of this song spoke to me today. As I think of the men and women readying themselves for a possible war with Russia how concerned their families and friends must be, I believe that in the end, all we can do is pray. Pray for peace and a speedy resolution.

My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Ukraine.
