At the zoo

Day 24! With a rescheduled publication date of March 29th, I’ve got quite a few more days of blogging! Can Paul Simon continue to be my muse for daily blogs? I believe he has written 130 or so songs so far. I refuse to think he’s finished writing. I guess his genius will see me through!

Today’s song is: “At the Zoo.”

I almost think this song says that humans and animals have more in common than we admit. (Oh, wait, we are animals too) I believe this song is a call for animal rights. But since Paul Simon wrote its lyrics way back in 1967, I would say he was well ahead of his peers in caring for all life on this blue ball we call Earth!

But I digress….
