Twenty-seven days in a row of blogs!

Again, using the title of a Paul Simons song as my inspiration, today’s song is: “April Come She Will.”

The reason for this song choice today? I HAVE VERY COLD TOES!! After we were lulled into thinking that the cold days of winter were weather over by a run of days with temps in the 40s, winter is back with a vengeance. Today the mercury has dropped back down into the teens!

Since my back injury many years ago, my left foot, especially my toes, is always cold. But when it gets cold outside…those toes are just frozen stiff! So, as I lie here, with a heated mattress topper on med/hi, and my first-world privileged problems, I’m dreaming of a tulip-filled Spring of warmer weather and lots of sunshine.

I hope and pray that those displaced persons out in this cold weather find a safe, warm bed for the night.
